Gen Rabten will grant the Empowerment of Buddha Avalokiteshvara and will teach “Essential Insights into the Avalokiteshvara Sadhana” from Venerable Geshe-la’s latest release, The Mirror of Dharma with Additions and Gen Lhachog will guide the morning meditations.

Gen Kelsang Rabten

Gen Kelsang Rabten is the National Spiritual Director for Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. Gen Rabten has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over twenty-five years. His deep faith in Buddha’s teachings, and the sincerity of his practice inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.

Gen Kelsang Lhachog

Gen Lhachog is the Resident Teacher at KMC Sydney. She is an Australian Buddhist nun who has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 20 years.

Gen Lhachog is an inspiring example of Modern Buddhism in practice. She presents Buddha’s teachings with beautiful clarity, warmth and sincerity, skilfully guiding people from all walks of life to find inner peace and lasting happiness.
